This article explores conf ormity assessment systems , particularly certification and accreditation, and their r ole in internationa l trade as well as in strengthening consumer trust. The activities of internationa l organizations such as ISO, IEC, CASCO, IECEE, and IQNET are ana lyzed, highlighting mechanisms f or reducing technica l barriers and ensuring pr oduct safety and qua lity . Specia l emphasis is placed on Uzbekistan ’ s integration into internationa l systems and the mutua l recognition of certification bodies .
