The partial chemical composition of the camelthorns, grown in many Regions of the Republic, has been studied in order to study the biological and pharmacological properties of the plant used in both folk and modern medicine. In particular, the fatty acid composition and other water-soluble substances such as saponins, flavоnoids and proteins were studied. The obtained results showed that the plant is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, saponins and flavonoids, which makes it one of the promising plants for pharmacological studies.
