The article is dedicated to the processes of socio-economic transformation in Iran after 1979. The main focus is on the formation of the "resistance economy" model, measures to maintain economic stability under international sanctions, and their impact on the social life of the population. The article examines the interconnection between modernization processes and theocratic principles, as well as reforms aimed at improving social infrastructure and their limitations. The influence of factors such as unemployment, dependence on international market conditions, and internal political contradictions on the country's economic development is analyzed.
