This article scientifically analyzes the main features of the innovation system and its infrastructure structure. The study extensively covers the role of the innovation system infrastructure in ensuring regional stability, important elements of regional stability, and the processes of formation of innovation infrastructure. Also, the interdependence of the formation of innovation infrastructure and regional stability is theoretically and practically substantiated. The article separately considers the importance of innovation clusters and digital infrastructure in the economic development of the region, revealing their role in increasing the innovative socio-economic efficiency of the regions. The relationship of infrastructure with regional capital investments, as well as the possibilities of strengthening investment activity through the development of industry and sector infrastructure in the region, are analyzed.
