This article studies the impact of the transport system on macroeconomic stability based on a comprehensive approach. In the context of globalization and economic integration, the level of development of transport infrastructure is one of the important factors ensuring economic growth, interregional integration, foreign trade activity and socio-economic stability. As part of the study, the relationship between the main indicators of the development of the transport system and macroeconomic stability indicators was analyzed on the example of the economy of Uzbekistan. In particular, the volume of cargo and passenger turnover, dynamics by type of transport, as well as changes in GDP and foreign trade indicators for 2016–2024 were assessed using statistical and comparative analysis methods. The results of the study show that the development of transport infrastructure enhances economic activity, serves to expand production and trade processes. At the same time, the negative balance of foreign trade creates the need for more rational use of the transport system to stimulate exports and increase logistics efficiency. The conclusions obtained justify the importance of harmonizing transport policy with the goals of macroeconomic stability.
