ARTICLE ANNOTATION
This article analyzes the role of madrasas in the educational system of Bukhara during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Based on the works, it explores the structure of the educational process, curricula, and the social and religious significance of madrasas. The study demonstrates that madrasas were not only centers of religious teaching but also key institutions in shaping the intellectual and moral culture of Bukhara, preserving Islamic scholarship and contributing to the formation of the region’s spiritual identity.
