This scientific article contains proposals for amendments and additions to the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Republic of Uzbekistan, based on foreign experience and scientific views, on the issues of protocol form of pre-trial proceedings. In particular, the article reviews such notions and issues as the historical development of the protocol form of pre-trial proceedings, the procedure for drawing up the protocol form of proceedings, the procedure for forwarding the protocol to the court, the procedure and terms of consideration of a case of criminal offenses in court.
