It was determined that the optimum ratio of ammonia and ethylene oxide to produce ethanolamines is 1:21, and the optimum temperature - 70 0C. Experimental data show that the permissible content of 60-70% DEA output is achieved at an initial molar ratio of ammonia-ethylene oxide 1: 17-21 and the degree of conversion of 70-80%, which allows to determine the upper limit on the degree of conversion of 80%.
