The paper suggests information technology driven UCAVs as a possible solution in countering conventional defense aviation threats in a technically competent and cost effective manner. The article suggests that information technology, artificial intelligence and the application of both can revolutionize the industry and bring a paradigmatic shift. The argument is in favor of UCAVs to supplement 4th generation fighters and as a competitor to generational thinking itself.
