The article is devoted to the issues of conducting investigative actions related to crimes in the sphere of information technologies. The author attempts to cover practically significant aspects of conducting investigative actions without participation of an expert in the sphere of information technologies, at the same time without having done much harm to the device and having kept all digital materials, necessary for carrying out the subsequent research. An attempt of classification of computer aids for formation of tactics of work with their separate types is also made.
