This article describes the historical foundations of the content of such con-cepts as peace, stability and peacemaking. It is also stressed that peacekeeping is the main fea-ture of the mentality, dreams and character of our people. At the same time, the socio-philoso-phical side of peacekeeping is revealed as a moral trend of an important factor in the develop-ment of our state.
