The given article is devoted to talking about the dastan “Karakuz (black-eyed) oyim (lady) from the repertoire of Matnazar bakhshi (bard). The principles of transforma-tion of the plot of the epos “Shakhriyar” are analized. In this process also the skill of the bard is highlighted.
