In this article, in the condition of globalization, the trends in the formation and development of medical culture among the people, philosophical assessments are given to such concepts as medical literacy and medical culture, thoughts on their ontological and epis-temological foundations are expressed, and to increase the level of medical literacy of the popu-lation, scientific and practical meaning.
