Text processing systems in the Uzbek language represent now one of the most perspective directions of information technology. One of such systems is the system of automatic editing and it is considered as complex and many staged. In the given work the speech goes on about a graphematic editing as the first stahe. There are shown the tasks of graphematic editing and attention is paid to the bases in graphematic editing modules.
