In the article there were analysed the texts belonging to Gluttony discourse in the work of Rui Gonsales de Klaviho “Dairy of Travel to Samarkand – to Amir Timur’s sultanate” which contains the notes about the travelling to Amir Timur’s reign. There was stated the role of gluttony discourse analyses, in the investigations of civilization history between East and West.
