With development of arthroscopic technique it is possible to restore anterior cruciate ligament with less invasive method. Advantages of arthroscopic method is minimization of trauma from a surgeon, it leads shortening of recovery period of patients. Results of 298 patients with anterior cruciate ligament tear, reconstructed with double bundle lavsanoplasty (145 patients) and with autograft with semitendinosus and gracilis tendons were studied. Mostly excellent and good results were obtained in both groups.
