ИСЛАМСКИЕ КАНОНЫ В ХУДОЖЕСТВЕННОЙ СИСТЕМЕ ОБРЯДОВОГО ФОЛЬКЛОРА

From the study it becomes clear that the sacrifice is a phenomenon of the ge-netic structure of the history of Azerbaijan culture. Folk memory carries traces of various forms of sacrifice. Celebrated at present as the official state ceremony, the holiday of Gurban is direct-ly connected with the foundations of Islam. Our people, who worshiped the faith in one Allah, performing this beautiful rite of Islam for centuries, has turned it into an organic part of our na-tional culture. This holiday, associated directly with the Islamic religion, has acquired in our country a number of local properties, that is, folklore specificity. According to information ob-tained from the memories, these traditions lived in the pre-Soviet era in the month of Ramazan, which was carried out with great enthusiasm. However, the merciless struggle conducted by the Soviet state against religious customs and traditions became the reason for the disappearance of most of these customs, turning it into passive memory of memories.
