The given article investigates the traditional motives occurring in fairy tales and their peculiarities, it reveals the matters of expressing national and cultural similarities and differential signs by linguacognitive and modal means. The article also touches the topic of people’s wisdom which is specific to folk dictum in Uzbek fairy tales. The author investigates magical figures met in the world’s fairy tales.
