In this article, the issue of artistic interpretation of the symbol of imagination in the poetry of Abdulhamid Chulpan was analyzed. The author explored the poet’s imagination in three different ways – an element of creative thinking, the essence of the dream of indepen-dence and the distortion of ideals.
