The article presents the main aspects of the organization and conduct of the process of improving the socio-linguistic competence of higher educational institutions’ students in teaching a foreign language. The effectiveness of this process depends on methodologically appropriate organization and conduction of teaching on the base of scientifically proved system of language-learning tasks and exercises.
