The problem of religious tolerance is extremely important to ensure the safety of modern societies. Religioustolerance is the basis for stabilityand integration of societies. Into-lerance of religious feelings and values of the other faiths has led to bloody wars, disintegration of states and nations. This article describes, the principles of tolerance in world religions, ensu-ring religious tolerance in the country and the development of a culture of religious tolerance among young people, which are mentioned in the first part of the fifth priority directions of the Strategy of Action “Priority areas in the field of security, inter-ethnic harmony and religious tolerance, and implementation of balanced, mutually beneficial and constructive foreign policy”.
