LEXICOGRAPHIC ABBREVIATIONS OF ENGLISH IN THE INTERNET DISCOURSE

The article is devoted to the discussion of lexicographic abbreviations of Eng-lish in the internet discourse. In particular, it places an emphasis on the ways and types of ex-pression of lexicographic abbreviations of English in the internet language. It suggests some ty-pes of lexicographic abbreviations in the internet discourse of English: abbreviations of vowels, conjunctions, modal verbs, words, phrases, sentences and others.
