The article presents data on the implementation of patients ' medical recommendations for taking antihypertensive drugs. At the same time, antihypertensive agents recommended by doctors for the treatment of arterial hypertension were analyzed. It is shown that among patients with arterial hypertension, there was an unfavorable situation regarding the fair use of antihypertensive drugs. It is shown that only 40% of patients suffering from hypertension regularly take antihypertensive drugs. The fndings indicate that doctors are more likely to prescribe beta-blockers
