This article discusses the use of lexical-stylistic transformation in the Uzbek translation of the famous English detective James Hadley. There are given five types of lexical transformation, their problems in translation, and which was studied the difference and similarity of English-Uzbek lexica. 143 The results of this observations can help to improve the knowledge of translators and fasten the translating process.
