ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
The yield of glabridin flavonoid in the preparation of glycyrrhizic acid and its salts by extraction of licorice roots with various solvents was studied. As a result, it was found that when receiving glabridine by extracting the raw material with water at 60°C, the yield of glycyrrhizic acid and its salts is the smallest result - 4.4%. The dried meal obtained after extraction is selected as an object for further research. In supercritical extraction at a pressure of 100-270 bar, a temperature of 50°C and a time of 60-150 min also with different concentrations of a co-solvent - alcohol, the amount of glabridine in the CO2 extract was determined. As a result, the optimal conditions for the process were identifed: 80% alcohol as a cosolvent, pressure 250 bar, temperature 50°C and extraction time 120 min.
