Japan's tourism industry is on the verge of becoming a major economic engine for the country. In 2020, Japan will host the Olympic and Paralympic Games and it is good chance to become a "tourism-oriented country". The main purpose of the article: to identify the main directions of development of tourism industry and explore potential future directions of tourism in Japan.

Yaponiya turizm sanoati mamlakatning asosiy iqtisodiy dvigateliga aylanmoqda. 2020-yilda Yaponiyada bo'lib o'tadigan Olimpiada va Paralimpiya o'yinlari Yaponiyaning "turistik mamlakat"ga aylanishi uchun yaxshi imkoniyat bo‘lishi mumkin. Ushbu maqolaning asosiy maqsadi: Yaponiyada turizm sanoatining asosiy yo'nalishlarini aniqlash va turizmning istiqbolli yo‘nalishlarni o‘rganishdan iborat.
