ABOUT JOURNAL

The scientific journal “Islamic Thought” of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan is included in the list of publications recognized by the Higher Attestation Commission under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan for articles in the fields of history, Islamic studies, philosophy, and philology.

In terms of publication volume, approximately 200 articles are published annually, with up to 25 authors contributing to each issue.

“Islamic Thought” is published four times a year.

On important dates or special occasions, the journal may issue special or combined issues if required.

The journal “Islamic Thought” has been registered by the National Library of Uzbekistan under the international standard serial number ISSN 2181-9572.

The journal contains the following sections: Islamic Studies, Qur’anic Studies, A Glance at the Past, Islamic Law, Linguistics, Religious Studies, Interethnic Harmony, Philosophy and Psychology, Philological Issues, Enlightenment against Ignorance, Information Security, Economics and Pilgrimage Tourism, and other related sections.

The journal is available electronically on the official website of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan (iiau.uz), where representatives of educational and scientific institutions, as well as experts from local and foreign organizations, may participate with their articles.

The Rector of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan serves as the Chairman of the Editorial Board of “Islamic Thought.”

Established by the Decision of the Academic Council of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, the Editorial Board of “Islamic Thought” forms the journal’s content and edits submitted manuscripts. The Board consists of scholars and specialists with academic degrees and titles working at the Academy or other institutions.

If one or more members of the Editorial Board raise a substantiated objection, the submitted article may be rejected for publication.

Authors are not paid royalties, and free copies of the journal are not provided to contributors.
