Conflict is a tense situation that arises due to differences in people's personal or social approaches, interests, opinions, and values. A conflict usually involves one party attempting to change the behavior, opinion, or emotions of the other party. Such situations lead to tension and disagreement in interpersonal relationships. However, in order to properly understand and effectively manage any conflict, it is first necessary to identify how it arises, what factors influence its development, and through which stages it progresses. Conflicts can be managed effectively not only after they occur but also by identifying them at earlier stages, understanding their root causes, and analyzing the direction of their development. In every social system, conflicts are considered a natural process; however, with the right approach, it is possible to reduce their negative consequences and even channel them toward positive change. To achieve this, it is crucial to identify the stages of conflict development and to understand them clearly. This awareness allows for timely intervention, constructive resolution, and the transformation of potential crises into opportunities for growth and improvement.
