В инженерной практике часто возникают вопросы, связанные с соединением и разделением потоков, в стыковых местах которых наблюдаются вихревые зоны. В статье рассмотрена задача исследования движения жидкости в канале с одним отводом, кроме того, изучены научные работы, посвященные соединению и разделению потоков, рассматриваются напорное и безнапорное движение жидкости в русле, влияние конструктивных элементов системы на гидравлические параметры потока. В статье построены функции с использованием формул теории струй, описывающие основные параметры канала и отвода, которые позволили определить линии границ вихревой зоны, угол сужения и отвода при равномерном разделении потока. Результаты показывают, что для равномерного разделения потока вдоль канала и по боковому отводу необходимо принять απ ≅ 300 – 500 при χπ ≅ 00 – 20 , при этом линия границы вихря очень близка к дуге окружности.
