Роль табиинов в науке о хадисах

This article provides an analytical and scholarly examination of the role of the Tabi‘un in the development of Hadith sciences, which occupy an important place within the Islamic sciences. The Tabi‘un are those who met the Companions of the Prophet, learned from them, and served as a vital link in transmitting the Qur’anic verses and the Prophetic traditions to subsequent generations. The article discusses various definitions given to the term Tabi‘i by classical scholars, their scholarly status, and the responsibility they carried as narrators, supported by authoritative sources. Moreover, the categorization of the Tabi‘un into different generations, their methods of narrating Hadith, their caution and precision in receiving reports from the Companions, and their contribution to the formation of the science of al-jarḥ wa al-ta‘dil are examined in depth. The study further demonstrates that the Tabi‘un not only memorized and transmitted Hadith, but also interpreted them in connection with jurisprudential issues, thus directly influencing the development of Islamic legal sciences. Particular emphasis is placed on the scholarly legacy of prominent Tabi‘un such as Ḥasan al-Baṣri, Sa‘id ibn al Musayyab, Ibrahim al-Nakha‘i, and ‘Amir al-Sha‘bi, highlighting their roles in shaping Hadith scholarship and the early schools of fiqh. The article concludes by emphasizing that the scholarly activities of the Tabi‘un represent a crucial historical stage in ensuring the continuity of the intellectual and religious heritage of the Muslim community.
