The article analyzes the pedagogical principles of using digital technologies in the educational process and their impact. Currently, digital technologies, including information and communication technologies (ICT), are gaining importance in general secondary and preschool education systems. These technologies play a major role in improving the quality of education, organizing educational processes and developing methodical support. The article also examines the psychological and pedagogical aspects of digital technologies, as well as their impact on children's intellectual development. The advantages of digitalization of the educational system, in particular, the creation of an interactive environment for the cooperation of pedagogues and students, the expansion of learning opportunities, and the introduction of artificial intelligence into the educational process will be discussed
