The fundamental error formulas of the devices allow the dependencies between output parameters and input parameters to be analysed quite simply. If these dependencies are obscure, then analytical and experimental methods are used to determine the sensitivity coefficients. However, the analysis of specific essentially non-linear devices, aimed not only at obtaining their accuracy characteristics, but also at targeted correction of error sources, meets even now serious methodological difficulties. This inhibits the development of appropriate engineering methods for the calculation and design of complex non-linear devices. In order to analyse and correct sources of errors of secondary power supply sources, in particular functional converters designed on the basis of passive non-linear elements with DC power supply we propose methodology, which uses construction of "causal graph" of magneto-transistor divider by voltage sections of its circuits, characterised by simplicity and clarity.
