The article describes the methodological and methodological foundations of the formation of the energy policy of an industrial enterprise. The analysis of the state policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of energy efficiency and energy conservation is carried out, which makes it possible to identify shortcomings of an organizational, economic and regulatory nature, which proves the existing contradiction between the economic interests of the state and private business in the field of energy efficiency and energy supply. The concept of energy consumption management of an industrial enterprise is proposed and formulated. The concept includes a number of provisions, among them the central place is given to the dynamic standard of energy efficiency and energy saving, which is considered as a business model of energy efficiency and energy saving, ensuring the implementation of both economic and energy strategies of the enterprise.
