Поезднинг муҳим элементи ҳаракатга турли хил асосий солиштирма қаршилик кўрсатадиган ва бир-бирига уланган вагонлар комбинациясидан ташкил топган таркиб ҳисобланади. Поезд ҳаракати параметрларини баҳолаш қуйидаги асосий эксплуатацион кўрсаткичлар бўйича амалга оширилади: юриш вақти, тезлик ва электр (ёқилғи) истеъмоли. Турли гуруҳдаги вагонларни ҳаракатга асосий солиштирма қаршилигининг юк поезди эксплуатацион кўрсаткичларига таъсирини ўрганиш учун икки хил ҳолат тадқиқ қилинди. Биринчи ҳолатда, вагонларнинг сони бўйича таркибдаги улуши асосида ўртача асосий солиштирма қаршилик ҳисобланди (мавжуд усул), иккинчисида – вагонларнинг оғирлиги бўйича таркибдаги улуши асосида ўртача асосий солиштирма қаршилик ҳисобланди (таклиф этилган усул). Вагонларнинг сони ва оғирлиги бўйича таркибдаги улуши орасидаги фарқ аксарият ҳолатларда кузатилиши ҳамда баъзи ҳолларда бу фарқ 25% гача бўлиши аниқланган. Юк поезди таркибидаги вагонлар гуруҳининг улар сони ва оғирлиги бўйича таркибдаги улуши асосида ҳисобланган ўртача асосий солиштирма қаршилик орасидаги фарқ ҳам аксарият ҳолатларда кузатилиши ҳамда ушбу фарқ, поезд тезлиги қанча катта бўлса, шунча кўпайиб бориши аниқланган. Бунда, вагонларнинг оғирлиги бўйича таркибдаги улуши асосида олинган ўртача асосий солиштирма қаршилик, улар сони бўйича олинган қийматдан доим кичик ёки тенг бўлиши асосланган. Маълум бир поезд маълумотлар мисолида вагонларнинг оғирлиги бўйича таркибдаги улуши асосида олинган электр энергияси сарфи, улар сони бўйича олинган қийматдан 9% фарқ қилишини кўрсатилган. Юк поезди эксплуатацион кўрсаткичларини баҳолашда турли гуруҳдаги вагонларни ҳаракатга асосий солиштирма қаршилигини таклиф этилаётган усул бўйича ҳисоблаш мақсадга мувофиқлиги асосланган
