This article is devoted to the problem of the influence of parental authority in the family on the personal development of the child, reveals the content and essence of the concepts of parental authority, their types, the importance of authority in training and education. The article analyzes the necessary conditions and provides psychological and pedagogical recommendations for the educational value of parental authority to be effective.
