Objective: To evaluate the effect of gene polymorphism SstI APO CIII to the level of lipid metabolism LP (a), APOB and C3 in patients with unstable angina. Material and methods. For observation we selected 42 patients, and they were divided into two groups: carrier «damaging» S2 allele (n = 19) and non-carriers S2 allele (n = 23). The content of lipids, apolipoproteins A-I of, in, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein levels were determined at the biochemical auto analyzer «Daytona» (RANDOX, UK). Genotyping SstI polymorphism of the apolipoprotein CIII (APO CIII) was performed by PCR Laboratory of Functional Genomics Institute of Human Genetics and Experimental Biology of Plants of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, using thermal cycler PCR Systems 2700 («AppliedBiosystems», USA) and in the laboratory of AH and molecular and genetic studies RSCC on GeneAmpPCRSystems 9700 thermocycler ( «AppliedBiosystems», USA). Results. In patients with unstable angina carrier «S2» allele gene polymorphism SstI APO CIII was accompanied by significantly higher levels of total cholesterol (P < 0,05), triglycerides (P < 0,05), LDL cholesterol (P < 0,05), the ratio of apo-B / ApoA-I (P < 0,05), and lower cholesterol value HDL (P < 0,05) compared to not-S2 carriers. It is also noted the link between the presence of the described S2 allele with increased protein concentration of apo C3 and LP (a). Conclusion. Thus, the carrier «S2» SstI allele APO CIII gene polymorphism contributes to the development of atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease increases the risk of progression in individuals of Uzbek nationality.
