ПОТЕНЦИАЛ СНИЖЕНИЯ КАРДИОВАСКУЛЯРНОГО РИСКА НОВЫМИ САХАРОСНИЖАЮЩИМИ ПРЕПАРАТАМИ

Recent international studies on the cardiological safety of new antidiabetic drugs have significantly changed the guidelines for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM) and they have provided important clinical information about decision making regarding the choice of antidiabetic drugs. In particular, when analyzing the results of studies that used SGLT2, it is indicated that the improvement in overall cardiovascular outcomes was associated with a decrease in the number of hospitalizations for heart failure and also in those studies that used the GLP–IRA, there was a decrease in the risk of nonfatal myocardial infarction. This difference is of significant clinical importance for cardiologists in determining individual risk based on the patient’s clinical condition.
