ОСОБЕННОСТИ АРИТМИИ СЕРДЦА У ПАЦИЕНТОВ ПОЖИЛОГО ВОЗРАСТА

The global trend of «aging» of the world’s population is pushing for a special approach in the diagnosis and treatment of elderly and senile patients. This article gives a scientifically substantiated direction for cardiologists in the approach to the interpretation of the diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias in the elderly. The tendency in the world medical literature of a deeper study of the aging processes of the cardiovascular system is indicated, scientifically based data on the generative changes in the pacemaker cells of the sinus node are indicated. This in turn limits the generation of pulses in it. Data on morphofunctional changes in the heart and the occurrence of dysfunctions in the activity of the heart are presented. Various types of natriuretic peptides and their prognostic role of markers in the development of cardiovascular pathology are listed. Particular attention is paid to the substrate and the causes of arrhythmias in the elderly and the features of their course.
