ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
A mathematical model and a numerical algorithm for the solution of the problem of unsteady filtration process of oil and gas in layered heterogeneous porous media with different hydrogeological characteristics is discussed in the paper. In developing the mathematical model the temporal and spatial changes of pressure in the filtration layers depending on the coefficients of filtration, piezo-conductivity and bed thickness were taken into account. Since the developed model is described by a system of nonlinear partial differential equations with relevant internal, initial and boundary conditions, its solution is found by performing the linearization of nonlinear terms and further applying of the numerical algorithm based on finite-difference approximation of differential operators.
