ARTICLE ANNOTATION

quote
This article examines the evolution of fold belts during the post-collisional stage and the mechanisms responsible for the formation of post-collisional granitoids. Within the framework of the Wilson cycle, geodynamic processes following continental collision, including lithospheric delamination, gravitational collapse, rifting, and transcurrent faulting, are analyzed. The compositional characteristics, source regions, and geodynamic models of post-collisional magmatism and granitoid formation are also summarized.
