The use of podcasts in teaching foreign language to students of universitie 
is discussed in the article. The article defines the concept of a “podcast” and describes the 
didactic  properties  and  methodological  functions  of  podcasts  in  teaching  a  foreign 
language.

определение    понятия  “  подкаст”  и  описываются  дидактические  свойства  и 
методические функции подкастов в обучении иностранному языку.
