The article studies the use of some additional water sources, both groundwater and ditch water, in irrigated areas where there is a shortage of water. Materials on water resources have been studied. At the same time, on the example of the districts of Bukhara region, hydrological indicators of water use are presented. Hydrochemical changes in the composition of groundwater and freshwater have been analyzed on the basis of the laboratory and field experiments. Conclusions and recommendations are based on the scientific research results.
