The article assesses the impact of structural transformations on the agro-industrial complex and agriculture in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and their impact on production. There is also a need to improve the management system at the enterprises of production and processing of licorise  and other medicinal plants in the region and recommendations for its improvement.

В статье анализируются влияние структурных преобразований на агропромышленный комплекс и сельское хозяйство в Республике Каракалпакстан и их влияние на производство. Отмечается необходимость совершенствования системы управления на предприятиях по производству и переработке  корня солодки  и других лекарственных растений в регионе и даны рекомендаций по ее совершенствованию.
