The subject of this research is the English language terms in literary studies at the present stage of language development. The object of this research is the peculiarities of the terminology models in literary studies. It is examined the complex terms of literary studies, giving special attention to the productive models and their functional orientation, as well as characteristic trends of evolution of compositology of the modern English language
