In the scientific article, the results of experiments on improving the germination of seeds of a melon tree by means of their immersion in water and a solution of indoleacetic acid (water 25 mg/l) under different exposure exposures are presented. A positive effect of seed lock in water with exposure within 18 and 24 hours, as well as a solution of IAA, was revealed.
