O‘rta Osiyo cho‘pon iti dunyodagi eng qadimgi it zotlaridan biri bo‘lib, ajdodlar zotlarining ko‘rinishini saqlab qolgan. Bu podani
himoya qilish uchun yaratilgan odatiy molossoid bo‘lib, u bo‘rilar, ayiqlar bilan kurashishdan qo‘rqmaydi yoki xavf tug‘ilganda egasi va uning oilasini
himoya qiladi. Oʻrta Osiyo choʻpon itining kelib chiqishi, umuman, choʻpon qoʻriqchi itlarning kelib chiqishi Yaqin Sharqda, qoʻy va echkilarni
xonakilashtirish davrida, koʻchmanchi yaylov va chorvachilik paydo boʻlgan davrda ildiz otgan. Markaziy Osiyoning mahalliy cho‘ponlari asrlar
davomida moslashgan noyob genetik manba ega. Ular og‘ir ekologik sharoitlarga osongina moslashadi, yog‘siz oziq-ovqat uchun juda mos keladi, kuchli
konstitutsiya, yuqori chidamlilik va ajoyib ish fazilatlari bilan ajralib turadi.

The Central Asian Shepherd Dog is one of the oldest dog breeds in the world that has retained the appearance of ancestral forms. It
is a typical molossoid created to protect the herd, which is not afraid to fight wolves, bears or protect its owner and his family in case of danger. The
origin of the Central Asian Shepherd Dog, as well as the origin of shepherd guard dogs in general, has its roots in the Middle East, during the period of
domestication of sheep and goats, during the period of the emergence of nomadic grazing and herding. The indigenous shepherds of Central Asia carry a
unique genetic resource adapted over centuries. They easily adapt to harsh environmental conditions, are well suited for lean food, are distinguished by a
strong constitution, high endurance and excellent working qualities.
