The main task of the drying process using modern cotton-raw processing technology
is the selection of moisture from the raw material to standard standards, which is not always solved
successfully. Despite the many years of use of drying techniques and technology, knowledge about
this process is clearly insufficient. In particular, there are no theoretical results on the influence of
the drying process on the heating rate of raw material components depending on the initial humidity
and dryer performance, which could serve for the further development of raw cotton drying
technology. The article theoretically and experimentally analyzes the patterns of heat distribution in
the components depending on the initial moisture content of the raw material, temperature and drying
time using the projection method, which makes it possible to analyze the heating rate of fiber and
seeds and use it when choosing the optimal drying mode for cotton-raw with maximum preservation
of quality while ensuring uniform heating of their components.
