The effect of the improved main working bodies of the machine on the efficiency of
the technological process was studied in the research work. The mesh surface slit dimensions were
adopted for the experiments, and the length of the mesh slit was changed during the tests and the
parameters were set that gave good results in previous experiments. In order to carry out tests on a
wider selection of cotton varieties, S-6524, one of the most widespread varieties in the region, and
Namangan - 77 varieties of cotton were processed.
During production testing, linter machine performance was also taken into account to ensure
efficiency. However, in order to achieve efficiency using the new device, it is necessary to at least
maintain the productivity of the linter machines operating in the enterprise. From the tests carried
out on the research work, it was seen that the greatest efficiency (55-56%) was achieved in the case
of the brush drum rotation speed of 1100 rev/min, and the angle of inclination of the guide at 300 in
the productivity installed at the enterprise. At the optimal values of the influencing factors, the
productivity of 1500 kg/h was achieved.
