The methodology for assessing the economic efficiency of a container terminal is a critical aspect of terminal management. This study aims to develop a comprehensive methodology for evaluating the economic efficiency of a container
terminal. The proposed approach involves a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, including financial analysis, performance indicators, and benchmarking techniques. The methodology focuses on three primary areas:
operational efficiency, financial efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The study also considers the impact of external factors such as market trends, regulatory policies, and technological advancements. The proposed methodology provides a structured framework for terminals managers to evaluate the economic efficiency of their container terminals and identify areas for improvement. The results of this study will be useful for terminal operators, policymakers, and investors in understanding the economic performance of container terminals and making informed decisions.
