Статья посвящена исследованию роли эпитета как стилистического приема, усиливающего выразительность, образность и передающего уникальную, субъективную точку зрения автора в художественных текстах. Несмотря на его значимость, не существует единого мнения о том, как определить этот прием, а также единой четкой классификации эпитетов.Объектом исследования является эпитет как стилистический инструмент, а предметом исследования - проблема определения и категоризации эпитетов. Целью исследования является изучение того, как определяются эпитеты в работах российских ученых, и обзор различных подходов к их классификации.
Для достижения этой цели поставлены следующие исследовательские задачи:
Ushbu maqola adabiy matnlarda epitetning ifodaviylik, obrazlilikni kuchaytiruvchi va muallifning o‘ziga xos, subyektiv nuqtai nazarini ifodalovchi uslubiy vosita sifatidagi rolini o‘rganishga bag‘ishlangan. Uning muhimlik darajasi yuqori bo‘lishiga qaramasdan, bu uslubiy vositaning qanday ta’riflanishi va epitetlarning yagona, aniq tasnifi bo‘yicha yagona qarash mavjud emas. Tadqiqotimiz obyektigaepitetning uslubiy vosita sifatidagi ahamiyati, tadqiqotimiz predmeti esa epitetlarni ta’riflash va tasniflash masalasi hisoblanadi. Mazkur tadqiqotning maqsadi rus olimlarining ishlarida epitetning ta’riflanish usullarini o‘rganish va ularning tasnifi bo‘yicha turli yondashuvlarni ko‘rib chiqishdir.
